Practice Director, Neuropsychologist & Clinical Psychologist (Adults) - All Locations & Online

Dr. Lesley Miller is a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist providing adult psychological and neuropsychological assessment and psychotherapy in Burlington, St. Catharines, and online across Ontario. She is the Director of Brookside Therapy & Assessments.

Her practice focuses on complex adult presentations, particularly where neurodevelopmental, neurological, trauma-related, and mental health factors overlap.

Areas of Clinical Focus

Dr. Miller’s primary areas of practice include:

  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) – neuropsychological assessment and treatment

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (Adults) – diagnostic assessment and functional supports

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) – assessment and psychotherapy

  • Trauma & Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

  • Anxiety Disorders

  • Chronic Pain and health-related psychological adjustment

  • Gender Identity and identity-related concerns

She works with adults up to age 70.

Assessment & Therapy Services

Dr. Miller provides:

  • Neuropsychological assessment for brain injury, cognitive concerns, and diagnostic clarification

  • Psychological assessment for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, trauma-related and mental health conditions

  • Psychotherapy for trauma, anxiety, ADHD, identity-related concerns, and adjustment following injury or illness

Therapy approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her work is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and LGBTTIQ-affirmative.

Training & Professional Background

Dr. Miller completed her Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto.

Since 2000, she has held clinical and research positions at:

    (Inpatient/Outpatient Psychological Assessment Service; WSIB-funded Psychological Trauma Program)

  • University Health Network – Toronto Rehabilitation Institute (Traumatic Brain Injury Recovery Study)

    (WSIB-funded Work, Stress, and Health Program)

Dr. Miller previously served as President of the Board of the Brain Injury Association of Peel/Halton and is a Clinical Affiliate of the Redpath Centre, a private clinic specializing in ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
