About:
Rebecca is completing her doctoral studies in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Victoria. She will soon be completing her year of supervised practice as a Psychologist at Brookside Psychologists under the supervision of Dr. Narmeen Ammari. Rebecca provides neuropsychological assessment and treatment to adults and seniors presenting with a range of conditions.
As part of her doctoral training, Rebecca completed a year of residency training at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton in the Clinical Neuropsychology and Women’s Health Concerns departments. She previously completed clinical practica training at Sunnybrook Hospital’s Neuropsychology Consultation Service, the Forensic Regional Services in Victoria BC, and the Anxiety Disorders Clinic of Vancouver Island Health Authority.
Rebecca’s treatment approach incorporates neuro rehab, emotion-focused therapy, and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT).
