About:

Sydney Juzdowski is a Doctoral Psychology Practicum Student who provides psychotherapy for adults at our St. Catharines office. Her services are supervised by Dr. Cheval Chez-Roy Birchwood, Psychologist. Sydney is currently completing her doctoral degree (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology at D’Youville University (Medaille University Teach Out) in Buffalo, New York. She has completed graduate courses in multicultural counseling and works with awareness of social justice issues and the need for advocacy. She has completed graduate courses in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy.

Sydney completed her previous practicum placement at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center (BPC). The psychiatric center is dedicated to serving individuals with serious mental illness in a way that empowers them and fosters hope and recovery from a trauma-informed perspective.
