About:

Ms. Morison is a psychologist providing individual and couples therapy to adults in Burlington. She has experience working with people struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, personal relationships, postpartum issues, sexuality, work issues, grief, chronic pain, and more. She works out of our Burlington office.

Ms. Morison completed a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at McGill University and an undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Waterloo. Most recently, Ms. Morison worked alongside a group of physicians at a Family Health Team in Burlington, Ontario. Collectively, she has over 10 years of experience working in various settings including a research hospital, counselling centres, and private practice.

Ms. Morison has training in various types of therapy including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), mindfulness, solution focused therapy, and more.

She believes in working with clients from an integrative approach, combining targeted symptom reduction, while also increasing insight into factors contributing to your difficulties. Both short term, goal-oriented and longer-term insight-oriented therapies are available, depending on your needs.
