Couples Counselling

Making the decision to try couples counselling can feel like a very big step. Many couples struggle with unhappiness or poor communication for years before deciding to work on their relationship. Over time it is quite common for couples to struggle with ineffective communication and feelings of being stuck in unhealthy patterns.

If you are feeling dissatisfied in your relationship or think that you could benefit from an opportunity to explore problem areas in a safe and supportive environment,  it may be time to consider couples counselling. Together we can break free from unhealthy communication patterns and re-ignite your connection and commitment to your relationship.

Family Counselling

Sometimes families come to us seeking help with relationships within the family. Some families may want to learn to cope more effectively with a challenge. Others may seek advice on how to support a family member who struggles with illness or problem behaviours.

In family therapy, “family” is a group of people who care about each other. Often the goal in therapy is to help the family members understand and support each other in healthy and adaptive ways.
